I have a 99 f150, and i've noticed that most headache racks look funny on the truck because of the body style. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good websites to look at racks. I'm not looking for one for work or anything, just to give it a sporty look. I would like it to be chrome, and to have box rails attached to it. Also maybe 2 lights on top or something. If anyone has any pictures, or knows any good websites for me to look at, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

???? Why would a headache rack be considered "sporty"? Just a personal opinion, I dont see them that way! I have only seen them on trucks your size as a white frame with the woven looking wire on them.

There are all sorts of web sites to look at headache racks.. I'm wondering what type look funny to you... (I'm curious because I bought a MIG welder a while back and plan on making my own rack over the winter. I'm still in the planning stages).

well to me, the ones with the square pipe, and with the mesh wire on them look funny on the type of trucks we have. I like the kind that are made of tubes, and they have box rails with them, because to me, if they don't have box rails they don't really look right. I've found that they look alrite on chevy's, crap on crap, but i just like the look of the more round ones. But this is just my opinion. That would be a good idea, to just make my own haha, then i could have it the way i want it. And catmechanic, in canada, alot of trucks have headache racks, just as a sporty type thing. In manitoba they seem to anyway.

Doesn't sound like it's the style you are looking for, but here is what I have on my truck:

There are plenty on the internet. Some require a membership but if you just type in something like "boobs" into Google you might get lucky.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that thread before. I've seen a couple others that had pics so I didn't even think about it.

Dam that's an expensive sticker lol. That's a good price though, $75 compared to over $200, not too much pocket rape going on there.

its a very expensive sticker haha. The back racks like that are very popular here, so there cheap. For $200 you can get a good chrome one, with a light bar included lol. Quite the price range.
