I just installed an LED 3rd brake light and LED tailights on my 05 F150 yesterday, and already have problems. HELP!! My cruise stopped working, and when I put either direction turn signal on, the right 4 lights(there are ten) on the 3rd brake light come on and flicker slightly with the turn signal. it rained slightly after I put them on so I thought that may have something to do with it. any ideas? It only have 50000Km's on it!

Seen this one before too, Hound_dog is correct, If you have a trailer you can verify it by hooking up the trailer and lights then go for a drive, the trailer lights should be enough of a load to prove it, unless you got leds in your trailer lights. Get some compasitor resistors and wire them in. I would by a trailer plug and do some testing with resistors from Radio Shack, try 100 ohms, 5 watts or 1000 ohms 1/2 watt, the lower the resistor the higher the current the more heat it will produce (could get very hot), if the 1000 ohms works then try a 5000 ohms or 10K ohms, don't need to go past 10K ohms, resistors are cheap like a 1 dollar or 2 for a pack of 5. not sure what the Compasitor package would sell for.

Hey man I had the same problems. I went to advance auto parts and put on these load equalizers onto my led taillights. Solved the problem. And the cruise control only worked when i had trailer on to. Also instead of cutting into your new lights if you put on one of those receiver hitch plugs that light up when you hit the brakes and when your lights are on will allow your cruise to work to. Good luck man.

O and by the way you dont have to have equalizers on the third brake light just do it on the tail lights.
